We are on a mission to revive the sustainable clothing sector and bring Irish heritage clothing back on the map by bringing the “Snugí” effect into households around the globe.

Our goal here in Snugí Babóg is to produce a high-quality product without compromising our standards, creating a platform for future generations.
We are active members of The Woolmark Company and support The Campaign for Wool. A key focus on our strategy is to work closely within the whole supply chain, collaborating from ‘farm gate to fashion’, promoting sustainable wool.
Why Merino Wool?
Merino Wool is the original eco fibre. As well as creating high quality, durable, comfortable, and beautiful products, Merino wool is 100% natural, renewable, and biodegradable. No other fibre, natural or man-made, can match all of wool’s naturally inherent benefits.
100% Biodegradable
When wool is disposed of it will naturally decompose in soil in a matter of months or years, slowly releasing valuable nutrients back into the earth.
Fire retardant
Wool doesn’t catch fire easily, however, if it does, it burns slowly and self-extinguishes when the source of the flame is removed.
Naturally Breathable
Wool fibres can absorb large quantities of moisture vapour and allow it to evaporate, making wool garments feel less clingy and more comfortable.

Temperature Regulating- it keeps you warm when cold and cool when hot.

Snugibabog was established in Dublin while sustainably sourced in Co. Donegal!
Founder Serena Grimes spent most of her childhood in the idyllic hills of Donegal and was inspired to launch the brand in 2020 after 20 years’ experience working in the fashion industry, specialising in product development and supply chain management. Primarily working across the Asian pacific region (Hong Kong, China, Sri-Lanka, India, Philippines and Australia), she gained extensive experience in multinational corporations: M&S, Target, Next, Otto Versand, Artsana Group – Chicco/Prenatal.
More recently, Serena worked with lifestyle and household brands such as Avoca, Tredstep Ireland and Dunnes Stores.
Serena honed her talent for sourcing the best quality and most beautiful heritage Aran designs into her passion for knitwear, and the Snugi babog brand was born.
Serena’s objective is to create a unique Irish heritage heirloom gift for newborn babies to gift around the world creating that cosy, warm feeling.
